Our Story

At Loop & Lift, we design beautiful, functional pouches for people who carry medical devices — starting with chemotherapy pumps.

Our mission is simple: to bring comfort, confidence, and identity back to a space that too often feels clinical.

Loop & Lift was founded by sisters Lucy and Liv.

When Lucy was diagnosed with bowel cancer at 39, she began chemotherapy and was given a hand-knitted pump bag. Though she was deeply grateful for the gesture, it didn’t feel like her. It was a jarring reminder of illness, at a time when she wanted to hold on to her sense of self.

With a background in fashion and textiles, Lucy began redesigning the bag — making something soft, stylish, and practical enough to wear with confidence.

Liv, a junior doctor training as a GP, brought her medical insight and patient-centred perspective. Together, they created Loop & Lift: a brand where design meets care, and where people can feel both supported and seen.

What we make

Each pouch is handmade in the UK using durable, waterproof quilted fabrics, adjustable straps, and thoughtful details that make daily life more comfortable.
Our designs are not only practical and protective, but also modern and empowering — because medical wear can, and should, feel good to use.

We currently create pouches to fit the Baxter SV2 (standard) and SV2.5 (large) pumps, used for many chemotherapy treatments, and we’re always adapting our designs to support other devices.

Beyond our products

Loop & Lift is run as a Community Interest Company (CIC), meaning our profits go back into supporting people living with cancer and long-term conditions.
We’re also building In The Loop, a community platform for shared stories, experiences, and resources — a place to lift and be lifted.
